SHANE FISHER #1 QUALIFIER & MAKES QUICKEST RUN EVER FOR X275 CAR 4.51@158.74 MPH-MEDLOCK & HULL IMPRESSIVE SHOWINGS OUTLAW STREET CAR REUNION BATTLE OF THE STATES-MEMPHIS,TN

Great weekend for Bennett customers Fisher, Medlock and Hull!

Shane Fisher raises the bar by making the quickest run in X275 history with a 4.51@158.74 MPH, only to fall in the second round to electrical gremlins when car lost power after staging.

Charles Hull runs the top speed of event with a 160.46 MPH shot, and a career best of 4.58. Charles lost to runner up Dean Marinis at 8 cars in a close race. Charles runs a Bennett Gen 1 engine with TFS Hi Port cylinder heads and a Large Frame 88mm Precision Turbo. With soon to be installed engine revisions and a new turbo we look for good things from this car in the near future.

Brad Medlock brought his Bennett 400 out for the first time. Brad fought transmission trouble Thursday and Friday, and came back to qualify with a 4.61. Brad went out at 8 cars to eventual race winner Rich Bruder when he spun the tires. Brad ran top speed of eliminations with a 159.02 MPH blast in the 2nd round, and went 4.60 that round with a very soft 60. Very impressive 1st time out with a new combo. All these are career bests for Brad.

“Although we were not in the winners circle in the end these new combinations performed very well. We will be debuting 3 new X275 cars with our engines very soon and look forward to growing our X275 engine program. It's going to be an exciting year!” -Jon Bennett

Congratulations to Bruders for Win and Marinis for runner up.

Along with Bennett Power-KB Xtreme Performance parts & tuning, and Pressurized Solutions fabrication plays a major part in these cars.

SHANE FISHER #1 QUAL & TOP SPEED X275 AFTER ROUND LIGHTS OUT 5 VALDOSTA, GA 4.59@157mph

Shane Fisher lays down the first pass in the 4.50’s under new X275 rules with a 4.59@157mph at Lights Out 5 in Valdosta, GA.

“They gave us weight this year, cried about our turbo and took it last minute, and tried to take our heads-but as we have proved time and time again-it doesn’t matter Bennett Power is still leading the way” John Kolivas, Crew Chief Shane Fisher

“ Our department heads at shop-Tony Cole, Lee Morgan,Jim Farris, and myself have worked really hard the past 5 months to develop our GEN 3 engines for X275. This first time to track the combination is showing promise & has A LOT of room for future improvement. We built this engine with 40 year old head technology from the 351 Cleveland Ford due to the lower weight allowed, but had that change to only a 50lb break mid stream. Good chance you will see us back with our New Bennett Racing 10X cylinder head soon due to only 50lbs for stock valve angle head. Looking forward to another great Bennett Powered year in X275” Jon Bennett-Bennett Racing Engines

“Bennett Racing Engines can help put your existing or a new engine to the front of X275-we are one phone call away-call Jon @ 205-269-3134. Why many re-brand our engines with a sticker on the valve cover, reverse engineer, and steal our engine designs & trade secrets, but there is nothing like the power of a Bennett Racing Engine”

BENNETT 427P CRATE ENGINE CUSTOMER RESULTS

We would like to share some results from Louis Fernandez on his recent purchase of one of our 427P Crate Engines. This particular 427P had some new camshaft and cylinder head designs that helped this engine make over 660hp vs. the advertised 625hp. We will soon be upgrading all of our 427P’s to these new designs.

First time out Louis ran 9.91@135mph! Note this engine is a hydraulic roller cam engine, shifts at under 7000rpm, and runs on pump gas!
